The BMW M6, which went into production in 2005, is considered throughout the world to be one of the best production cars in the 2+2-seater sector. Its very sporty design is underlined by the large air intakes in the front valance which provide the large amount of air required by the engine and brakes. Equally conspicuous and integrated harmoniously into the bodywork are the new side sills that draw attention to the large-format tyres and the diffusor framed by the four-pipe exhaust assembly. The roof and valances of this de luxe coupé are made of carbon fibre to reduce weight, which also favours the agility and outstanding handling of the car. The same combination of luxury and sportiness is to be found in the interior with its high quality leather and versatile adjustable sports seats. It is when it is driven that the M6 reveals its hidden strengths. This sporty 6er will hold the road even at top speeds. The Servotronic power steering is surprisingly light and very precise. The well-balanced suspension and adjustable damping also contribute to the sporty driving experience without detriment to comfort. Due to the customary speed cut-off at 250 km/h the use of the technically demanding fast engine of the M5 seems somewhat excessive. Nevertheless the powerful five-litre ten-cylinder engine has a capacity of all of 507 bhp, therefore well able to exceed the 300 km/h mark.
