These are actually the CR-X Si as it was in Japan in 1983 (introduced in the USA as a 1984 model). In 1984, the US models got stuck with the 1.5L carbed motor, but this one (the JDM Si) had the 1.6L fuel injected motor (same as the first generation Integras). I actually raced one of these with the 1.6 swap, and still race a 1985 Si today. In 1984 and 1985, the US models had recessed headlights, just like this car. But in 1986 and 1987, the headlights were rounded. But I am a life long Honda enthusiast (I wrote 2 Honda Performance Books), and I can't tell you how happy I am to see this diecast finally released.
